Dalton drew his hips back then, with the oil slicking the way, pushed back into Finn’s body again. He was more than a little mesmerized at the sight of his cock disappearing between Finn’s soft cheeks. The younger man was innocent of this, Dalton was sure, but he seemed to allow the penetration, to welcome it even.

Lost in the sensations brewing inside him, Finn held on tight and peppered Dalton’s skin with kisses. He knew any inhibitions he may have had were melting away under Dalton’s skilfull touch, and he grew in confidence, his hand now tightly wrapped around his own cock, stroking with a rhythm that matched Dalton’s thrusts.

Sensing they both needed something more to take them over the edge, Finn drew up his legs to wrap them securely around Dalton’s waist. Dalton’s movements faltered, and he cursed, his voice rough, and kissed Finn hard.

  “Look at me,” Dalton demanded.

Finn blinked as he focused on the man above him: wild hair and an expression of total tenderness. Dalton’s thumb gently caressed Finn’s cheek, and Finn cried out again, not knowing where these sounds came from, certain his body had never made them before.

  “Finn.”

Dalton’s voice turned into a sob, and his body shuddered. Finn knew what this meant, that Dalton was climaxing deep inside him, and he tightened his hand over his own cock and spilt between them, covering his own hand and Dalton’s stomach in sticky fluid.

The sound of their ragged breathing was suddenly loud in the small room, the smell of their exertion thick in the air, skin and muscles and bones still reeling. As Finn came back to himself he turned his head and laid one more soft, soft kiss on Dalton’s cheek, letting his lips linger there for far longer than necessary.

Finn’s breath caught one last time as Dalton pulled away and left his body painfully empty. Still, he found himself not minding so much when Dalton used a cloth to carefully wipe the oil and other things from his skin. They lay back down on the bed on their sides, facing each other, both lost for words….

Until the moment they found them.

And it was a strange thing—once they were said the first time, the next hundred times were much, much easier.

  About the Author

ANNA MARTIN is from a picturesque seaside village in the south-west of England and now lives in the slightly arty, slightly quirky city of Bristol. After spending most of her childhood making up stories, she studied English literature at university before attempting to turn her hand as a professional writer.

Apart from being physically dependent on her laptop, Anna is enthusiastic about writing and producing local grassroots theatre (especially at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she can be found every summer), going to visit friends in other countries, baking weird and wonderful sweets, learning to play the ukulele, and Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk.

Anna claims her entire career is due to the love, support, prereading, and creative ass kicking provided by her best friend Jennifer. Jennifer refuses to accept responsibility for anything Anna has written.

2nd place winner of the 2012 Goodreads M/M Romance Member’s Choice Award “Best Musician/Rockstars” for Tattoos & Teacups.
